"Where urban athletes meet outdoor enthusiasts"

welcome to the future of chattanooga skateboarding and climbing.

Our goal is to bring to Chattanooga a long overdue indoor ROCK CLIMBING and SKATEBOARDING park.  A place so big it will become known among all hard core skaters and climbers across the region.  801RIVERFRONT climbing and skate park is the evolution and growth of the Tennessee Bouldering Authority (TBA) climbing gym in St. Elmo and the collective vision of a surfer and a local skater to build a skate park of the highest quality that most local kids have never seen.

what we are doing

We want to become Chattanooga's premier indoor rock climbing and skateboard park, as well as providing space for a club area with ping-pong, pool, foosball tables, food, training room, and a pro-shop.

Vertical Solutions, builder and manager of The Front Climbing Club in Salt Lake City, with our help will design and construct 10,000 square feet of world-class indoor rock-climbing walls; including bouldering, top-rope and lead climbing walls.

The skate park will offer 20,000 square feet of wood ramps and street course obstacles such as pyramid boxes, rails, banks, and half-pipes.  The skate park will be built by John Saxton, designer and builder of the X-Games, with the help of local talent.  We also plan to add outdoor concrete bowls shortly after opening.  This park will be the first of it's kind in the country. We can't do this without you!

how you can help

First, we need you to take our survey.  This will let us know how our plans meet the needs of the local climbing and skating community.  Second, if you want to make this project a reality, then sign-up for a Charter Membership - these cost nothing until the facility is built, it is at a significant discount over the future annual membership plan, $300 instead of $400, and you will always receive this discounted price provided you keep your membership current.  And finally, further our cause by telling your friends to log on and sign up.

the bottom line

We need 250 Charter Memberships before we can proceed.  These memberships cost nothing until we complete the facility.  If this facility appeals to you, sign up; then get your friends to sign up.  With everyone's help, we can make this happen.
